This is a cigar that was given to me by one of the reps at the cuban crafters booth at the IPCPR. I have never seen this cigar before as it is a brand new product being put out by these guys. They had quite a few other new cigars that I will be reviewing as well. I will be getting pictures up of this new cigar soon as there is nothing out in internet land about this release.
Close up of the nice band.
The cigar itself is a long 7″x 38 ring Lancero. The wrapper is a dark shade, I’m not even sure what type of tobacco at this point with my limited knowledge of it. It smelled great on pre light, some coffee and earth were certainly there. As I lit this cigar up I got a nice steady flavor of earth, but it didn’t really open up until the last third. I got a great rush of coffee and cedar flavors toward the end that made this a very nice smoking experience. I would recommend this cigar to those who enjoy a medium body lancero shape vitola with a fair amount of flavor.
I am the Chief Editor of In The Humidor and have been running this site since 2007! I enjoy a great cigar with friends and just hanging around the house. I have 3 beautiful daughters and a wonderful wife, we live in the Dallas, Tx area. I also enjoy a good bourbon, craft beer, and absolutely love the ocean and beach.
