It was my birthday yesterday and I broke out all the stops on my cigar selection. I am here to add one very special selection from yesterday, the rare #77 Shark. Not too many people have tried these as they are rare holiday cigars distributed out by Fuente during the holiday season only to select vendors. I happen to have some very good BOTL friends that gifted me some to sample.
The cigar itself its a beauty. The construction is top notch, it is very toothy and mine had some plume around the foot. The smell was sweet and very pleasing even before i lit it up. I clipped it with my Xikar Xi and started to light it up with my Element lighter and toasted the foot. As i was smoking it I was getting lots of sweet notes, cedar, and earth. This was a great cigar all the way through and I didnt want it to end. It was by far my favorite Anejo to date, and i have tried the 48,49, and 55. I would recommend this to anyone that can actually get theirs hands on one.

I am the Chief Editor of In The Humidor and have been running this site since 2007! I enjoy a great cigar with friends and just hanging around the house. I have 3 beautiful daughters and a wonderful wife, we live in the Dallas, Tx area. I also enjoy a good bourbon, craft beer, and absolutely love the ocean and beach.
