This is a big cigar and I had no idea what to expect from it. This cigar is in the family of tobacco’s blended by Felipe Gregorio. I had heard about this blender but never tried any of his stuff until now.
First off, this is not an expensive cigar. It can be had on cbid for around $2-$3 per stick. So at that price it was worth a go. Initial look over was very promising, this is a very large torpedo and it had hues of reddish and almost blue coloring on the sun grown wrapper. The cigar smelled great as well, construction seemed to be good with very little veins present on the wrapper.
When i toasted the foot there were hints of cedar and leather. The cigar created mass clouds of white smoke and good flavor. I could taste more leather, some nutmeg, and coffee notes. The burn started acting up a touch so i had to do some corrections but all in all it was a good cigar for the money.
I am the Chief Editor of In The Humidor and have been running this site since 2007! I enjoy a great cigar with friends and just hanging around the house. I have 3 beautiful daughters and a wonderful wife, we live in the Dallas, Tx area. I also enjoy a good bourbon, craft beer, and absolutely love the ocean and beach.
