Today we have the Perdomo Lot 23 Maduro Robusto for review. The cigar looks good and has a nice dark sheen maduro wrapper, it seems to be oozing with oils as well. There are a couple of big veins sticking out on the wrapper though, i was really hoping they didn’t interfere with the burn. The pre light was nice and of toasty earth. I have smoked a few of these before but forgot what i was in store for.
This cigar took about the first 1/3 to settle in. The smoke was full but kinda flavorless at first, then it happened; the flavors exploded on my palate. I had earth and leather, even meaty peppery notes. To me this cigar tasted almost like a Tatuaje, it was amazing. I nubbed this cigar for sure as i couldn’t get enough of it. I was even sitting outside on my porch freezing and i couldn’t put it down to go inside. This is one of those cigars that grabs you and tells you to smoke more of them.
I am the Chief Editor of In The Humidor and have been running this site since 2007! I enjoy a great cigar with friends and just hanging around the house. I have 3 beautiful daughters and a wonderful wife, we live in the Dallas, Tx area. I also enjoy a good bourbon, craft beer, and absolutely love the ocean and beach.
