Today we have the Padilla Achilles Salomon cigar for a quick review. The cigars can be had fairly cheap when CI has a weekend or daily deal. It is a rather large stick at 7 x 58 but not as long as other Salomons I have smoked. The wrapper was pretty smooth and gave off a nice corojo flavor.
The burn wasn’t the greatest as I had to touch it up multiple times. I got sutle spice from this stick and a hint of cedar, not much else. It was fairly smooth and created a decent amount of smoke, but was very one dimensional.
Overall I wouldn’t recommend this cigar to experienced smokers who crave the flavor bombs, because this isn’t one of them.
I will stick to my favorite Padilla stick, the Signature 1932!
