The Dos Capas (2 wrappers) cigar is one that is intriguing to say the least. Barber pole cigars are becoming more and more popular by the day and blenders like Felipe are taking advantage. This cigar is a nice looking Churchill with a couple of decent sized veins in the wrapper. Hopefully this won’t distract the burn. The smells of grass and hay are evident on the foot.
Lighting the cigar brings out more grass smells and some cedar. The cigar seems to be pretty mild to slightly medium in body. Decent smoke was produced from this cigar and the flavors were still of cedar, but now with some slight sweetness. The burn was getting bad though, I had a runner and it wounldn’t go away. Overall the cigar is decent for the money, the burn issues were hard to overcome though. I can’t 100% recommend this cigar as there are better alternatives out there, but for the money you have to try it at least once.

I am the Chief Editor of In The Humidor and have been running this site since 2007! I enjoy a great cigar with friends and just hanging around the house. I have 3 beautiful daughters and a wonderful wife, we live in the Dallas, Tx area. I also enjoy a good bourbon, craft beer, and absolutely love the ocean and beach.
